K-1 Stars fight for ISKA World title

K-1 Stares Jerome Le Banner and Stefan Leko will face each other to contest the vacant ISKA World Super-heavyweight Freestyle Kickboxing title on the 11th June in Geneve Switzerland.

Le Banner has featured regularly in the K-1 World Grand Prix Final 8 for the last 15 years, back in 1997 Le Banner won the ISKA Heavyweight in Paris when he defeated American Maurice Smith, he later vacated the title unable to defend due to his k-1 commitments.

Stefan Leko battled his way through the K-1 field beating three time K1 Champion Peter Aerts in a K-1 USA final, at the height of his K-1 career he switched to MMA and fought for Japan Biggest MMA promotion PRIDE.

Now both men return to their roots in a World Championship Kickboxing match.
